Reproduction Steps
This bug has been occurring here: Emergency Response: Liberty County - Roblox
We haven’t done anything to cause this. It has been happening for maybe over a year now. Just turn on ATC and the bug will happen on random strings.
Expected Behavior
I expect strings to be logged in the portal as they show up in the game.
Actual Behavior
Strings logged in the portal are sometimes missing characters at the end.

Hey mrfergie, thanks for the report (and it was nice meeting you at RDC)!
Can you share any other examples? Is it always missing one character, or does it sometimes only scrape half a sentence (missing more characters)?
And you mentioned that it’s been happening for over a year now. Just confirming, you’re still seeing this happen now when you enable ATC?

Seems to always be missing only 1 character at the end. This does still happen as of the past month.
This image is supposed to say “Falcon Advance”
If it helps, this string is set by a script in game.

He is another string that was recently captures, missing two characters at the end

We are actively working on improving the automatic text capture tool to reduce incidence like this. Thanks for your detailed examples!
