Just minutes ago, I changed the password on my account, to bring it more in line with other passwords I’ve made more recently. Roblox Studio has handled the change just fine; the Roblox site, however, has not.
Attempting to log into the website gives a bizarre messed up page, with attempts to navigate to other pages instantly logging me back out. I tried the Roblox app, too, out of curiosity, and that just fails to log in entirely.
Does anyone know of a way to fix this? I have never encountered this bug, and I most definitely can’t develop on or enjoy this platform without being able to use the site or client, sans Studio.
There is a likelihood that your Roblox account may have been moderated… but I doubt that’s the case because you probably would’ve seen the warning message already if you had been warned.
There are many reasons this is happening, being moderated being one of them.
A few other reasons include Roblox being down (not the case, just checked), using a VPN, your Internet Service Provider has blocked some parts of Roblox from working…
Try waiting around 15 minutes and try and log in again and see if the situation has improved
Also while you’re at it, would it be possible to try logging in on a new device or new browser user (in Incognito tab or Guest mode, for example)?
I just tried logging on in incognito, apparently that works - which is a relief! However, even after relaunching my main browser several times, it’s still not working right. I can try clearing the cookies or something tomorrow if the problem persists, to see if that helps.
Thanks for the tip, I was pretty worried there! Didn’t think to try something so simple as a result of that. If the problem with my main browser goes away tomorrow, I’ll mark your post as the solution.
