Login Via Studio Window is completely black

Roblox Studio’s login window doesn’t load

(this might actually be posted on #bug-reports:studio-bugs but somehow I can’t tag it, sorry for that.)

I just finished installing roblox studio on Linux, using wine64 and winetricks, but when I run the
application; the login-window just doesn’t load. I’ve tried installing Microsoft’s Edge Web Viewer 2 -Runtime and still got the same problem.

here’s one screen capture showing the black screen error.

If anything helps, I’m using Arch Linux x86_64 on a ASUSLaptop. If more system specifications needed, please let me know.

Well… I think I just fixed it by running the following command:

WINEPREFIX=~/.wine wine64 RobloxStudioLauncherBeta.exe -force-d3d11

I heavily recommend you use a third-party bootstrapper like Vinegar as these issues would already be sorted out for you.

Brute-forcing Roblox with Wine isn’t fun.

Yeah I had that on mind, but since vinegar is not working anymore I had to try this way. Still thank you for replying.

NOTE: this is what the official vinegar site says.

EDIT: Besides, it says that it’ll continue working; I tried to install it and was well, but a package file just made the whole program crash with the same error from newer versions of the studio. I tried with other versions and this didn’t happen.
