Thank you for this. Torches leaving trails on moving ships was my main issue.
Will this property extend to the original Fire, Sparkles, and Smoke particles?[/quote]
No.
@Gamer101 and Echo
This will be a float because why not. Half motion inheritance? Sure.
How would that be useful though :?
Having a torch that doesnât trail at all looks weird, so does one that does inherit any momentum at all. Youâll be able to have a nice middle ground.
Is it actually inherits motion or is it more like inherits relative position?

I needed this so badly.

What youâve got right there would make a pretty awesome pew-pew gun bullet, tho.
Looks super useful for bullets and flamethrowers.
David youâre my senpai.
This will make my thrusters look so much better on my space game.
Velocity inheritance â itâs different, and works with the spinning things.
You spin my particles right round right round when you apply velocity inheritance when you apply velocity inheritance inheritanceâŚ

More things I can do!
Itâs a thing.
Water can fall sideways, right?

FYI everyone this was Defaultioâs idea so yeah give me thank yous.
holy moly pls add ;_;
Please be optional⌠err⌠Uh, configurable.
i mean yeah believe it or not we care about backwards compatability
That⌠stinks.
Is there any rough time frame we can expect to see something like this implemented in? Being able to do things like that with particles would actually help ALOT with the game Iâm working on
