Looking for a full-stack programmer for a Role-Playing Game. 30% Equity + $$$ PER System

Important Introduction:
I’m currently looking for a full-stack programmer that will help me bring my concept idea to life. You will be paid 30% equity from the game’s total revenue, and also cash per system made to minimize your risk from the failure of the project.

Roblox’s CEO has mentioned that his goal for Roblox is to create an educational platform that will empower players’ imagination and also create a social media platform. We will help bring forth his vision with this game.

The game idea allows for players to be able to customize their own virtual life by building houses, businesses, and friendships. They will have to do jobs, as criminal or a law-abiding citizen, to be able to earn their career respect and afford the lifestyle they choose to live. Living in the immersive and engaging city of Robloxia, the variety of things for players to do and their choices would be endless.

The Job:
We will hold meetings every 2 days within the week. One of the days will be for the team’s status update, and the other is to demo the feature completed within the week and reiterate the tasks for the upcoming week. You will be assigned subset features of a system to complete for the week and will be paid when the whole system is completed.

Being a programmer myself, I understand that it’s hard to think of deadlines within a large scope such as “build a car system.” We will abstract every feature we have in the game, and base deadlines off smaller scoped subsets of the system.

  2. Car system

Example subset features of a system:

  1. Furniture placement of the building system
  2. Suspension for the car system

Is this game going to work out?
There’s no sheer way of knowing whether or not something’s going to succeed, but what we can do is minimize the risk of failure. To uphold the fear of it not working, you will be paid directly for every system you make. The equity is just cream on the top.

We will also utilize a lean pivot method by starting off a foundational small scope and pivot based on the success of the initial release. For example, the smaller scope release would include just the base that defines what the game is all about: socialization. There will only be 3 main systems (the building system to create the social environment, the transport to be able to explore and see other creations, and the job system to earn money for your own creations) in place.

Being an immersive RPG game, the updates could be endless where we can start targeting niche areas: car culture and customizations based around that, new ways to earn money through heists and underground jobs, etc.

I already have a team in place to cover everything else from UI creation to buildings. All you have to worry about is making the game come to life.

I’ve also already built up a huge network of high profile influencers from previous experience. It wouldn’t be hard to propel our game + some marketing money.
