I am the Director of a notable and successful genre known as the Third Crusade. This is not a startup project Recently, my very talented and accomplished coder informed me of his intention to depart the project due to complications with the amount of time he had during the week. I am looking for someone to fill this role who is talented and an expert in coding, preferably lua.
The project is medieval-based and has a large following. We average about 30 people in game every day at any given point, with spikes going over 100 during battles. We recently finished a new update that will release soon that should double those numbers, at least.
The job is to become the Third Crusades new head scripter. You must learn and read through the current code so you can edit it, and change it if needed. Note, there is already a LOT of code in the project, which you can tell when entering the game. After learning the code, I expect new code to be added and additional projects to be completed per our development trello page (with my help as a builder). I am offering either an employment contract or partnership contract depending on your preference. Either way payment is involved based on ROBUX through group funds. I am looking for someone specifically who is interested and passionate about the project, but if you are just doing it for the R$ that may also be acceptable. Payment will be given in a percentage of Group funds to be determined by negotiation. I am expecting that the person would be able to contribute a reasonable amount of time each week towards the project.
How much say you have in the project will depend on whether you take the employment or partnership route. I will want to see a sample of some of your best work and do some tests before deciding to sign you on or not. Thank you for your time.
