About
Hi! We’re a small team of 2 people right now developing a free, open-source admin panel project for everybody to use totally for free. Progress has been slow recently and I’m trying to get it out kinda soon so we’re expanding our development team to ensure a release soon. Most stuff is done for launch, just a couple of missing features and we do not have any apps completed yet which need to be done.
Our progress
Right now the following is complete:
- Full frontend, including animations, homepage, all of the pages, etc
- Most backend, including admin management, application installing
- Python-based application server
Most of it is done from years of prior work, so we’re gearing up for a release in the not-too-distant future. You can track our current progress here.
Your responsibilities
You will be working on the team and should communicate what you are doing whenever you are making progress. We have a Trello board which should be kept up with. Some things we may look for you to do include:
- adding new functions to the front/backend
- new app development + research (I will be completing UI unless you are a UI developer who understands the panel’s design language)
- bug fixing
- light QA testing
You should be very familiar with Lua and how to use it, roughly 3-4 years of experience should be your minimum. We use Git for versioning meaning you should generally use Rojo, but I don’t and just publish my changes to Git at the end so no hard feelings if you don’t as long as you make sure the changes get pushed.
You should familiarize yourself with our code standards and should write code abiding by it for consistency (spacing, PascalCase, etc)
Payment
I will be paying in Robux. Payments will be out of my pocket and we don’t know how much this will earn just yet, but I’m not putting a solid amount here because it’s not solid for sure. For a general idea we will probably be splitting theme sales + donations ~20-25% and I will pay per-task/app completed as requested.
