so, what I’m trying to do is build a bigger version of my homestore than my current homestore where there is these mini stores for people to go inside of and shop there based on a theme that they are looking for; One of the stores shown is pretty much complete and the other has at least the basics liek the roof, walls, windows, etc. but because I’m not super confident in my building abilities I wanted to show you guys what I have so far so see if there is anything I should change/add to the buildings so here goes nothing.
this is for the pastel themed clothing supposedly
for the purple little room i was thinking on adding moon + stars in that part but not too sure about the idea
the second one is the more complete one… the theme is going to be grunge/dark clothing…and dont mind the default clothing on there; its not going to be final lol
I find the first store to be quite nice, and here are some ideas of things to add (Build 1)
-Maybe pictures of users in your clothes, so they can see what that specific outfit looks like on someone.
-Clothing racks and tables (Of course)
-Maybe add some more colors.
-This is only if you want: You can add a cash register, or if you want to go above and beyond, hire a programmer to make your store fully interactive, where users can click on the item of clothing they want, take it to the register and buy it there.
<Apart from that, the build is lovely, and you have done an amazing job.>
Store 2 (Grunge)
-I wouldn’t just use black on the outside, maybe use some red or other dark colors like grey or dark stone grey.
-I do like the two story build in the first store, so if you would like, maybe add another floor.
-I do like the pattern on the wall behind the chained mannequins, so maybe add that in other areas of the store (The pattern.)
-I am not sure about the hanging mannequins, but that is completely up to you.
Nice buildings so far, especially the idea that each mini store will have its own theme for specific clothes.
Here are my suggestions for improvement:
For the grunge building, you can add dark textures or make the roof dark
For the pastel building, you can add galaxy/pastel colour or textures on the roof
For the roof of each building, you can also add hanging objects depending on the theme - so for example the pastel one would have moon and stars hanging, you can even add the circular lights
For the purple little room, you can use it a display area where you show off your best outfit combination that people can buy from the pastel building (sort of outfit inspiration)
Fill the second floor of the pastel building with pastel clothing hangers
And whenever you run out of ideas, go look on Google how people would design their stores. Hope that helps!
for your first build, i believe the pastel colors incorporate each other admirably. i like to low-poly feel of this build, however i think you should include some lights and add a bit more texture to the build. (flooring, wallpaper, possibly curtains for the windows)
