Our game should be playable within a few months.

It would be like the same style as valorant
Not an exact copy but very similar

Yeah of course, you would also join the team!
If you choose to get paid by percentage that will be discussed by how much work you do!
Sorry, thats stupid.
No skins at launch means no money → no money for the people that you want to “hire”
Valorant monetization is based on skins.
Include skins, include a battle pass, leaderboard with a ranked system and u gonna make 100k + $ in total.
Yea but not at release and thats dumb.
On release you have the most players in your game and thats the best way to earn money.
If you release skins later you make less money.
Thats why Valorant had shtty skins in the beginning and the devs said that they are not the final skins,
because they didnt had the time to make good skins but they knew they get the most players in the first few days and this is the best time to make money.
But maybe im thinking way to professional and he dont want to be professional …
I see your point. But if there are say 20 QA testers at the start when the game isnt public, I doubt many people would buy them. Having that QA testing period would give us feedback for the gameplay mechanics aswell as time to create the skins
