Looking for Feedback for my roblox game!

Hey everyone!

Recently I’ve been working on my first Roblox game! The game is mostly made by ChatGPT, but I’ve took a lot of inspiration from other games, and would love some honest feedback!

I plan on releasing and advertising this game by Saturday 6/29/25!

Please be harsh as possible! Thanks

After a couple minutes of playing, I have a few suggestions.

  1. UI on fruits need to be larger
  2. I suggest using Tween Service instead of walking humanoids for the fruits, otherwise they tend to get stuck
  3. Add a cooldown to “Lock Base”, currently players are able to spam that.
  4. Elaborate on the tutorial. I didn’t know what to do after buying a fruit, and the game didn’t indicate me on what to do.
  5. If a player A is inside player B’s garden, and if player B locks the garden, player A get’s stuck inside.
  6. Once fruits are grown (which does take a long while), the sell value is not accurate.
  7. Add proximity prompt descriptions
  8. On a positive note, I do like how the AI voice tells you what fruit you’ve bought.

Overall, it’s a really good game that has exceeded my expectations, well done!

I think the game can be really fun with more players, but really all I can do is speculate since a game based around multiplayer doesn’t have it’s main gameplay aspect come into play when testing solo. I still however want to give feedback on a few aspects of the game that I think could be improved upon:

  1. The UI clashes with the retro style of the game
→ The UI (The shop, index and the other button I cannot recall the name of) at the top of screen has a style that clashes with the simplistic style that the game aims to have. Specifically, the instance of gradients: personally this causes the game to look very ugly.
  2. The Map Feels Cramped:
→ Gardens are small and close together, the food in the middle is massive, and the UI i feel is a little too big aswell. If the game is about going to other bases and stealing from them, it would make sense that it takes more than 5 seconds to go to another player’s base.
  3. I don’t like the sound effect for when you can’t afford food
→ Definitely personal but I feel like it does not fit at all, maybe you can take something from that opinion

Your game has a lot of potential for the younger audience for sure, a mix of grow a garden and steal a brainrot? not a bad concept. I would probably however make sure that the fruit aren’t collide-able.

As Giftdenz said, maybe expand the map out just so there’s a bit of breathing space. Overall not a bad game. Hope this takes off in the near future!

Thanks for the advice! I’ll be sure to set up detailed collision groups!
