A while back i’ve made a tycoonish game, but stopped developing on it.
The reason i’ve stopped, is because i suck on guessing what a good rewarding-system would be.
Before i continue, please check out the game so you know what i’m talking about.
You’re supposed to unlock more inmates, to retrieve a higher income. However, i don’t know what a realistic ammount is for 1 inmate to make. I don’t want it to be easy to gain money, but shouldn’t be too hard too.
Concept:
First floor/mainfloor, section 1: Cheap, making fast money.
Second floor: Inmates costs more, but increased earnings.
Third floor: Even more expensive inmates, little increased earnings.`
– EDIT –
Does it annoy you/makes it less fun that the jail does not have a exterior map? Making the game a bit more single-player instead of multi.
The modeling of it is pretty decent, would be a nice touch if you made the tiles a subtle stone texture. Everything else, it’s horrible. It constantly tries to cash grab you and the game is pointless, you pretty much just press wasd and wait for an hour. It’s honestly pretty unoriginal, theres basically tens of thousands tycoons that exist and yours uses a free model kit and no unique features at all. The theme itself also isn’t that unique since I’ve seen a lot of jail games and just jail tycoons in general
