Looking for feedback on Biblically inspired game

This is a very meaningful project to me. It’s based off the book of revelation in the Bible. I want the world map to be really interactive and big in scale to really capture a sense of exploration for players. I draw a lot of inspiration from deepwoken and follow their progression system closely. I’m also trying something different and innovative with the rig and graphics.

There will be mobs from the Bible and from my own creativity. I will release the document in my discord server.

I also have the whole storyline set up such as government, organizations, abilities and how it all runs together to a spiritual perspective.

i dont like the rthro looking rigs

you should have them with better proportions or switch to r6 characters which can be really aesthetic on roblox because their blocky shape is already familiar to the community

in the teaser i think the shot of the flower looks really weird because the photorealism is a big contrast to the roblox visuals that are everywhere else, so try to recreate those in roblox to have a consistent theme

also the opening sequence was really long with static imagery which will definitely drop peoples’ attention

trailer should also include some shots of the maps/exploration part of the game or some kind of common gameplay aspect so people can get excited to actually play the game

edit: i know you dont have an entire studio of people, but also feels like the description and some parts of the trailer just feel too serious compared to the visuals. frame it like an indie game on steam where you can have something cool and unique but not too offputting or boasting

Thank you so much for the feedback I will definitely take it all into consideration and I agree with everything you said about the teaser :sweat_smile: that was a while ago and I don’t really edit so I think I’ll wait to get it professionally done. As for the rig, it’s not really made to fit in, it’s supposed to be innovative and I understand that it’s different for a lot of Roblox players. I payed a professional Genshin mock game maker to make the rig and they will probably make a lot of other things also. I also feel like the proportions could do with the clothing which I am looking to add more soon that fits the style. From now on for representation I’ll focus on getting videos professionally done.
