Hello everyone. I made a game called Gravesmashers 2.0, which is a sequel to a game with the same name. It’s about stopping skeletons from escaping a graveyard, all while using weird weapons. Mostly hammers.
I recently released an update to the game that fixed a bunch of key issues it had, and I’m looking for ways to continue making the game better. Do you have any ideas as to how I can improve the game even further? Thanks in advance
appearantly i can just wait for all the skeletons to come out and i will distract them by spinning around them. they kept chasing me and i just hit them with a hammer 4 times and they all died
Yeah, you can spin around them pretty easily without getting hit. This is an issue with balancing that I’ve known for a while now, and I’ve had a hard time trying to make it less effective. If you have any ideas as to how I could decrease its effectiveness, please let me know.
The game looks pretty original. There are some flaws though. I think the UI can be improved. The map is also quite bland. Generally, the game isn’t too bad but can be improved. Good luck on your game!
Improving upon the design of the UI is something I have planned for the future, but right now it isn’t a main priority. However, improving the design of the games maps is planned for the next update alongside tons of balance changes and bug fixes.
I’ve released an update to the game which has hopefully addressed a lot of the issues brought up both in this thread and by people outside of this thread. Thank you all for the feedback, I really do appreciate it.
More updates are planned for the future. Though I’d like to try and focus efforts onto making new games too, so updates as major as the one just released probably won’t happen for a while.
the game just starts even when none of the assets are loaded, so im just standing when the skeletons are invisible and my player is half loaded with half the map invisible
