Hi! Im currently looking for feedback on the updated logo for my turn based rpg, Blockwoode Theatre!
Any constructive criticisim on it is apreciated!

Its basic. Not saying basic is bad or anything, it just lacks detail and shading.

Most certainly an upgrade; I love the style. However, as mentioned by @Chark_Proto, there is a lack of shading to create a good logo. Shading is almost necessary for most logos in similarity.

I feel the old logo is fun, it reminds me of DK.
It’s pixel art, you really can’t go wrong with it.
The pixels are an aesthetic in themselves.
However, if you need tips for pixel art by itself, I’d be able to help you with that.

This is a great foundation of a logo but it feels wayy too rough. Try using multiple, softer colors for the insides of the pixels and the borders. Compared to the old logo, this is much nicer. You should definitely look at other pixel arts and see what i mean with the colors and shading. One last suggestion for you is that you should increase the amount of pixels, this is wayy too small and barely fits the logo’s elements. Keep it pixelated but make sure it’s not just clumped together, hope i helped! Good luck

I think maybe adding some shadows on the side might make it pop more

Looks way better, maybe make the black border of the text the same color but darker? do the same for everything else and i think it’ll look really good
try and experiment on whats behind each letter, what i mean is for the first ‘L’ in blockwoode, to the right of it there is a small amount of empty space and a red pixel and its just really easy to notice
experiment on what to put there instead maybe like fully black or something different
another thing is i like how the ‘theater’ is textured, i think it would be cool to add that to the yellow on the sides i forgot how to call it
