Hello Devforum community! I’ve recently been working on a game with a small team of people and I’m just looking for things to improve on or what could be different.
I think it’s only fair to give credit to thepoopXD’s weapon pack which we’re using for the time being until we get a professional scripter. Other than that, everything is made by us!
Well for starters, good start, I don’t know how many people are involved or how much experience you all have but you’ve got some buildings so that’s good. Class selection isn’t working completely and you’ve not created any specific area for class selection… Hovering over the water is a little unsettling until you realize you are not spawning into an empty world, just choosing options. As for the map. It’s small. Like, way too small. I don’t know what kind of player count you are looking for but this game looks like it would be a 3 on 3 or 5 at the most. The attacking side has no cover at all. So id change that. Id also add more buildings on both sides and quadruple the map size. Add more places to take cover and add a couple of other ways to get over the river. Bottle necking at the river will only make it impossible for the attacking team to cross without being slaughtered. Other than that Id work on the character animations and your scripting. But good start for someone whom I assume hasn’t built a game before.
