Looking for Game Feedback - Turn Based RPG, Monster Catching, Quests - full game

Hello!
I’m hoping I can get some feedback on my game I’ve been designing for several years now. It’s a full length RPG - classic turn based combat, voice acting, 100+ monsters to catch, 100+ quests, customizable avatars, side jobs, PvP battles, card collecting, story-driven plot, etc. etc. The game is complete. Really just looking for any feedback if I’m missing anything, if there’s any bugs I haven’t stumbled across, anything. And if anyone has any advice on the best ways to advertise the game, it’s much appreciated. :slight_smile:

Game Link: Lost Story Adventures - Roblox

Thank you so much!

Hey! so #1 I can tell you’ve put so much effort into your game and it shows; the main thing is I found it super confusing what to do in the first minutes of gameplay? (I think it may have been a bug but there was an arrow just pointing to the sky? sorry I didn’t get a SS)

Also that and the User-Interface seems a bit clunky and not something you would see on modern games - I think this is the only big downside I can see in my time playing, IK its easy to say change it but I think if you try to adjust it it would make a big difference;

In my opinion you will struggle to find mass-appeal to a general audience on Roblox so I would focus on marketing in communities that would respond well to this; Its a very retro vibe game and would definitely appeal to an older audience for example, I’m not sure how you could go about specifically marketing to them however

Overall really good job the game looks Quality I hope you find success :smiley:

Thank you so much for taking the time to play the game! Getting feedback at all has been difficult. What would you suggest on the UI? Making the clickable menus smaller? More compact? The original idea was for them to appear as smart phone “app” buttons.

Thank you for the call on the arrow, I’ll take a look at that. I didn’t want to load down the player too much with initial things to do, but more structure might be better.

That marketing question is the kicker. =/ I’ve just put it out for sponsored game ad spots, three different ones: Males Only, Females Only, and 18+ Only. The click rates for all three categories are fairly similar. I’m curious what my results will be tomorrow when the ads are over. I don’t even begin to know how to target market the game outside of Roblox. I looked at outside platforms, and struggled to find “game feedback” places, but I’ll readily admit to being ignorant on that front.

Thank you so much for taking the time to play and respond! :slight_smile:
