Hey, thanks for stopping by on this post
Im making a simulator game called Sipp’n simulator, and im thinking of making the map, purple themed,
is the purple too much on my map? lmk, also drop any other suggestions if you have all suggestions/input is appreciated!
I just wanna say that, before even reading your message, I saw the photo and it hurt my eyes. That’s more of a pink than it is a purple. I’d go for darker shades if I were you.
edit: I just saw your message at the bottom… but yea too much purple. Stick to darker shades.
I would also appreciate if you could tell us a bit more about the simulator. From the title, I am thinking that you drink something to make you bigger (I hope you can read the doubt in my text; you may want a different title/some good thumbnails and info.)
since I don’t have a reference to the game for the choice of colour, I am basing myself solely on your words, so I would generally suggest that you create a palette that allows you to emphasise purple, but without covering everything with purple.
You could maybe tell us a little bit more about the simulator, but as a few other users said, when I looked at the image and my eyes hurt a bit, so your not making your game that much attractive.
Therefore you should add more darker “purples” so it is easier to look at the map and play peacefully without hurting a little bit our eyes.
By the way, I find it a little bit more creative to use pink/purple. Instead of the average green we can see almost in every simulator (I am not criticizing any creators using green colors for their simulators).
By the way I just got leveled up so I’m not sure if this is the right way to do, anyways just for safety reasons: Surferkillerbobyea123
In his map you can see it has not such a strong color and “easy colors” to see, that’s why I recommend you to use darker colors that are easier to see.
Based on your photo, I could see that you’re using insanely bright, blinding colors. Please tone them down using the proper and necessary color charts. Pinks can be replaced with purples and to add pop, maybe add a slight blur.
