I have been building for close to 4 years now, and its always great to have an reference image or a very clear image of what you are tying to build. I sometimes do sketches of what needs to be built, make sure you use a character model to scale your builds and ofc try get design ideas from different games or builders.
• Practice: Practice is extremely important. You may not be perfect at first, but you can always enhance your building skills.
• Watch tutorials: Watching tutorials on YouTube will help greatly. By watching tutorials you can learn new things, and you’ll possibly create ideas from what your watching.
• Know your way around the studio
And many more.
I hope that this post has helped, and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out.
I wish you the best of luck.
Patience is key, and you must always be motivated.
Motivation drives your creativity and will to build, and when you are working on something, or working for someone, you need to have a ton of motivation to do the work because you do not want to displease yourself or the person you’re working for.
I know the title is unclear, but I don’t think he’s looking for tips or inspiration. He has a problem, which is his normals are facing the wrong way. @WarriorHawk356’s post should help.
Always use the F3X plugin, it generally helps a lot with moving, copying, resizing and rotating, I highly recommend using it if you have not already considered it.
Always have references for your builds, you can have a folder dedicated to images you could copy off by. However, always adjust to your liking and try not to keep it similar but something original too.
Motivation may be a problem, I highly recommend playing some tunes it will definitely keep you from staying on task without getting bored and going through other project developments could also dedicate you too.
Practice will help a lot, for the past few years, I have improved myself. For me, I haven’t watched any tutorials, I simply self-taught myself and I guess it has naturally come together with that practice.
