Looking to create a framework for randomly generated survival map

About Us

I’m a scripter that notices most large open world games on Roblox are not as engaging as they could be. It’s not uncommon for maps, even well built ones, to be barren. Due to this, players often find themselves walking around most of the time to find an engaging location in the map. One of my favorite games on Roblox, Apocalypse Rising 2, suffers from this. Previously playing games like Fallout 4, I know there is much more potential for open world survival games on Roblox to develop, so I want to create a framework that randomly generates new, engaging content for players. I realize that this would take an incredible amount of work, but with a team, I think it could happen.

The Team
As for an official group, I have a newly created discord and group called Ascend Developers, of which I am the only member.

About The Job

Looking for experienced scripters that are very comfortable with Roblox API. Being competent with Lua syntax is not enough. Please send me your work through discord: Askadaf #2909
Of course, I will send my previous work as well if requested.

This is not a paid job, as the main goal is to revolutionize what the open-world experience on Roblox could look like. I am not looking for people to work FOR me, I am looking for people to work alongside me to achieve a vision that all of us are interested in.

I am currently planning the technical features and the API we’ll need to create such a framework through Trello, and would like people who are able to make this vision their own as well.

Payment

This is unpaid (and this is where most people will scorn me).

I know you’ve emphasised that you want a partner and not an employee - that I understand.
What I don’t understand is if you’re looking for a partner… surely you’ll give them some of the money the game earns? Otherwise are you taking 100%? If you could clarify that would be good.

If the framework is created and a game is based off of it, then I would give even split percentage share between the members of the team, and the maximum amount of people working on the framework would be 3 (which should be enough since I’m trying to recruit people of high skill). Since I’m trying to find partners rather than employees, nothing would be final - everything, from the percentage share to the direction of the game - is up for discussion. And I’m definitely willing to give a higher percentage to scripters far more skilled than I am.

This sounds cool, if you are an amazing scripter I would definitely want to work with you on this (if you want to work with me)

I know you said you will show your work in dms, but I think it would be a little better if you posted some of your work here because I personally do not want to go through the process of adding on discord, saying hi, etc just to learn of your past work

Sure, I’ll do that once I’m at home
