The bottles, coins and gemstones were created by my friend.
In future I’m going to create chests and barrels to place on the floor around the tables.
If those screenshots are rubbish then I’ll happily provide different ones.
I love it!
But I’d suggest keeping the lighting at Shadow Map. Future causes weird glares and reflections which is good for a lot of builds, but I just don’t think Future really ‘fits’ low-poly builds.
It’s up to you though, I don’t want to tell you how to do stuff.
Looks good
For this I only used Roblox Studio since I’m unfamiliar with Blender as of now. Soon I plan on taking a couple of days to learn the basics of Blender but for this build, I only used Studio.
For this build I didn’t need to use any plugins. For the other parts of the project I’ve created which aren’t featured in the images, I’ve relied the most on Build v4 for its triangle terrain and GapFill for obvious reasons.
I’m interested in what that would look like with a more grunge material like slate applied to the compacted-dirt floor. Given the single color texture here is stylistic, I might instead say I wonder if you have considered using PBR materials to make dull plastic for cellar use, as that floor is quite shiny.
The meshing is great and expresses command of detail, the layout is very geometric and pleasing with its symmetries, I think it’s quite great and is seamless with your friends work.
Im assuming this is for a medieval house? in that case I would add some storage for meats and “juice” as would be common in those times for spoilables, apple cider was something very commonly made, just really give extra life to the world
@coolpro921 I didn’t use Blender - only Studio. I believe my friend used Blender for the props.
@MrGreystone To combat the shininess I changed the lighting to ShadowMap. Thanks for pointing it out - below is a new screenshot. I’ve also not looked at using PBR for this project but I’ll definitely consider it.
I think the coins should scatter around the table more, while the coins in the middle should stack up just a little bit. (i hope you understand what im trying to say?)
I really like it, I think it has a good medieval atmosphere. Like you said, I suggest adding some chests and barrels. Maybe you can add some mugs, or steel chains and iron bars to make it seem more like a medieval basement or dungeon.
