A few low poly forest assets. Any tips how I could improve them? They have 6k tris together, do I have to decrease it or is it okay?

They look quite good, except for the one on the far right which looks a bit odd around the lowest branch. maybe try using less faces there.

Thank you for feeback, which tree looks better? The one with many faces or the other with less faces?
Neither of them look quite right, try doing one with more faces than the one with less faces and less faces than the one with more.

Something’s off with each of them. But maybe that’s just a feeling because of the grey, maybe post them with actual colors.

The problem is that they’re symmetrical. Nature hardly ever is. Here’s how you can add some randomnexx:
- Take the leaf objects, and subdivide them 2x.
- Add a displacement modifier
- Allow the displacement modifier to manipulate local positions of individual vertices.
- Create another one, which manipulates the global rotation of the object
- Add noise textures to the modifiers. Voronoi, or perlin noise textures should be fine.
- Add a decimate modifier, to simplify the mesh back to low poly.
Here’s the difference:
