I’m building low poly so I dont know which one to do
The low poly art style is a style that uses minimal polygons, and is often made in blender. Most of the time it has no texture, so maybe go with smooth plastic.

Use both! In real life, sidewalks have different colors and textures for each tile. Some are pure white, others beige. Some are rough, others are smooth.

Your referring to a cartoony look, sidewalks normally have smooth plastic since it’s something related to that specific theme. If you where to switch up the process when creating sorting roads or sidewalks, try making some that are featured in different parts of the city.
This is a simple question that can be answered yourself: if your making a cartoony theme build try creating sidewalks that are made out of mesh parts to have a unique view. A simple search can find you a few results you wish to achieve out of this I’ll try switching them up then implement those parts inside whatever your creating.
