Low retention on spelling game

Hi all,

I’ve been working on a turn-based spelling game and I believe it is in a largely finished state, yet the player retention data doesn’t seem to reflect this. Only 27.65% of players stay for over 5 minutes, and there never seems to be more than 1 or 2 players in the game at a time (which seems detrimental due to its nature as a multiplayer game).

Is this simply because I haven’t given the game enough time to gain traction - or are there steps I can take to improve player retention?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey, I see that your game has less than 1000 visits which plays a huge role in stats.

Since you have low visit count, the stats are not accurate, once you start advertising and once more players come play your game, the stats will start to take shape and you can make necessary changes if there is place for improvement.
