Messina is an upcoming and fast-growing cafe company on ROBLOX. At Messina, our guests experience satisfaction, comfort and excitement. Our executive team here is always hard at work delivering the quality service we strive to give to our guests.

CAFE - Messina is our core game. Our cafe provides a comfy and hearty environment fit for gatherings, meet-ups, or plain fun!

TRAINING CENTER - In our training center, we offer quality trainings that are carefully inspected day by day. Each new member of our community is encouraged to work up the ranks in Messina. Our training center is both fun and homey! The minimum rank for joining the training center is Trainee. Customers, Noted Customers, and Senior Baristas cannot join the training center. Trainings are hosted regularly at the times shown below.

APPLICATION CENTER - Looking for a job as a customer, but can’t find the time to join the interview center? Well, this is the place to be! Submit an application today! Your answers will be carefully evaluated by our staff in order to promote you! We advise you to use grammar during your application process and provide the best possible answers you can! Only Customers may access the application center.

Code of Conduct

IN-GAME RULES - The following rules apply to any of Messina games, and apply to any player playing them. Breaking any of these rules could result in being kicked or banned from the game.

1. Do not exploit, use lag-switch, or glitch.

  • Any exploitation will result in an immediate permanent ban from the game. Glitching through walls or using a third-party software to cheat also fall under this rule.
  • Using building tools such as F3X to block entrance-ways is also included

2. Using alternate accounts to cheat moderation.

  • Do not use alternate accounts to circumvent bans. They, and all associated accounts, will be permanently banned.

3. Playing in a fair and responsible manner.

  • Messina Is specifically a role-playing game, however, in the context of the game, players are expected to act in a certain manner, and staff members may use their discretion to ban players who do not play fairly.

4. Abusing capitals in sentences.

  • Though this isn’t as harmful as other rules it is still unacceptable. It will result in a warning from the Messina Moderation/Executive team and a possible kick if you continue.

5. Admin Abusing.

  • This rule is quite common sense, and it only applies to people who have been granted administration commands. Any form of Admin Abusing will result in a permanent blacklist and ban from all Messina games.

6. Any form of racism is not tolerated within the game.

  • This rule includes using racist slurs and being respectful to all Messina Community players, and making everyone feel included.

7. Register Hopping or Trolling.

  • Register hopping and trolling are strictly prohibited on Messina’s premises and will result in a kick or ban.

8. Abide by the Roblox Community Rules.

  • Let’s be a responsible community and abide by the platform’s rules. Use the Roblox report feature to report rule-breakers.

COMMUNICATIONS SERVER RULES - The following rules apply to Messina’s Discord server. Moderators have discretion in interpreting rule violations on a per-case basis.

USERNAME REQUIREMENT

Your SERVER NAME must contain your Roblox username. Your name shall not contain special characters nor anything else which the mods deem unfit.

RESPECT

You must be respectful to all users in this discord (voice and text). No bullying or offensive content. This includes racial slurs.

SPAMMING

No spamming. This means sending messages repeatedly with no legitimate reason (more than 5), including @mentions. This also applies to voice chat and rejoining voice-chats repeatedly. Excessively pinging other members will result in a kick or ban from the server if without a valid reason or if an MR is able to answer the question.

NSFW CONTENT

No NSFW (inappropriate) content. This includes text, images, links, and voice. This will not be tolerated and consequences will be applied, effective immediately.

ADVERTISING

. No advertising. This includes sending invites to discord servers. This also includes using this server to DM other people’s advertisements/invites.

MALICIOUS ACTS

No posting links with link shorteners, malicious content, private information, or anything similar. This will result in an automatic ban.

VC DISTURBANCE

Do not have excessive background noise in voice chat. Use push-to-talk if you can’t control background noise. Also, do not play disruptive sounds/songs in voice channels.

CHANNEL APPROPRIATION

Keep voice and text chat appropriate to the correct channels. For example, keep bot commands in #bot-commands.

SPOILERS

No spoiler baiting. This means putting NSFW/Racist references in a spoiler. Do not break any other rules (or appear to) with spoilers.

NOTE: You will be held accountable for any actions done on your Discord account.

Repeat offenders/alternate accounts will not be tolerated and will be permanently banned.

Rank Descriptions

Welcome to the Rank Descriptions! This segment will provide information about each individual staff rank. Please note that these descriptions do not provide full information about their ranks, these are just small bits of information that will improve your understanding of them.

NON-STAFF MEMBER ROLES

Customer

  • This is the lowest rank a group member can obtain, once a user joins Messina, they are automatically given this rank. Being a Customer allows you to apply for a Trainee role (which is a requirement within the application center).

Trainee

  • Even though Trainees have succeeded in passing an application, they are still technically not a staff member until they pass a training or obtain a certain amount of points to receive a promotion. Trainees + are given access to applying for higher rank applications if they are released.

Noted Customer

  • Customers usually receive this role if they are an industry icon within the Roblox community, if they were a former staff member or if they are a representative from an affiliated establishment. You may also receive this role if you’re incredibly known within our own group.

LOW-RANK STAFF TEAM
Staff who manage practical tasks

Barista

  • A trainee that has successfully passed a training session or received a certain amount of experience points will receive this role. Baristas are usually in charge of serving guests, helping our fellow staff members and attending regular shifts to be noticed.

Senior Barista

  • Senior Baristas are more experienced Baristas who absolutely know what they are doing! You can always be guaranteed quality assistance from a Senior Barista as they have worked there way up through passing another training session.

MIDDLE-RANK STAFF TEAM
Staff who overseer most shifts and sessions

Management Intern

  • Congratulations! If you’ve passed the management application or accepted a staff hire request from one of our Executives, you are qualified to go through a Staff Assistant Internship.

Staff Assistant

  • A promotion given to those who have passed the Management Internship. Staff Assistants are extremely qualified at their jobs, they have the permission to ban, kick and moderate our servers to maintain a safe environment for others.

Supervising Team

  • Yes, Supervising is the main role of a Supervisor. Supervisors are responsible for overviewing Training Sessions and Shifts. They do the most of the duties of a Staff Assistant, but are the first line of support when it comes to dealing with trollers/exploiters.

Assistant Manager

  • Assistant Managers are responsible for managing the Management Structure, such as logging the information provided by lower ranks and sending support to their peers.

Manager

  • Managers keep the same job as Assistant Managers. They are also the last Middle-Rank so they are required to be as active as they can to receive a promotion.

HIGH-RANK TEAM

Shift Manager

  • The first High-Rank, Shift Managers have the choice of joining a Department where they may represent as a Human Resources or Public Relations member. Find more information about Departments below.

Board Management

  • The Board Management is responsible for having regular meetings about managing the communities suggestions and thoughts.

EXECUTIVE TEAM
Staff who manage and control all operations

Executive Assistant

  • The first Executive Team member, they are responsible for helping make Executive decisions sent from lower ranks and constantly managing and modifying the management structure to ensure all staff members are up to date.

Executive

  • Executives provide weekly updates to the staff committee, they are constantly working hard to provide the experience that everyone here at Messina deserves.

Presidential Assistant

  • Presidential Assistants serve as personal assistants to the Presidential Team, they co-work together to complete the personal tasks from the Presidential Team.

Presidential Team

  • The final rank that is responsible for refining every update, modification and action. This rank is given to the founders of Messina.
Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I get a job at Messina?

A: There are two simple ways that you can get a job here at Messina! The only way that you are able to get a job at The Star is partaking in an application, these applications are found on our group games and also specific applications can be found in our communications server.

Q: How can I utilize the Ticket System?

A: Open a ticket in bot commands by running !!new there will then be a channel created that you will receive a notification in, fill out the format and a Customer Support team member will be with you shortly!

Q: How do I know if I have passed the interviews/applications?

A: All applications are automatically graded and you will be ranked to the Trainee role if your application exceeds the score requirement (4/7).

Q: How do I contact an MR+, in the case of a troller?

A: If there is no MR+ in-game, use our communications server to get in contact with an MR+. You may ping an MR, but please, ping only one at a time, and only after they pronounce that they are unavailable, you may ping another MR.
