  • Here contains all the information about the Chain of Command.

What's Chain of Command?

  • The Chain of Command otherwise known as CoC is a system in the Malaysian Army for anyone who needs an issue solved. +If you have any concern or a question, you should first contact the lowest Commissioned Officer. For example if a non-commissioned officer has a question, they would contact a Captain which is the lowest Commissioned Officer rank. If you are a Commissioned Officer and you have a question, you are requested to contact the rank directly above you. For example if you are a Lieutenant Colonel you would contact a Colonel for your issue. If the rank you have contact isn’t able to solve your issue you would contact the rank directly above it. The Chain of Command was created so time isn’t wasted for any high ranks.

Chain of Command

    1. [OF-2] Captain
    1. [OF-3] Major
    1. [OF-4] Lieutenant Colonel
    1. [OF-5] Colonel
    1. [OF-6] Brigadier General

    1. [OF-8] Deputy Chief of A rmy
    1. [OF-9] Chief of Army
    1. [OF-10] Chief of Defence Force

Everyone is obliged to follow the chain of command or else they may face the consequences of being ignored, receiving a fire warning, physical training or possibly a demotion.
