The animation is a bit choppy. And the main character should change position after the strike. Other than these things its good.

it might look choppy because of the FPS. Not too sure though.
I suggest adding audio to spice it up, regardless well done!
- add audio
- add more humanish stuff like after he does the pose thing make him start panting or smthn and have his arm shake up and damn a bit
- add more like points to the animation make it smotth also did you choose an easing style? (guessing ur moon anim)
- VFX definatly seems your thing lol no problem with that!

I also didn’t go overboard on the animations simply for the fact that the main focus is still the vfx- it’s the thing I’m showing off, not my mediocre animation skills xD

That last part where the character doesn’t move for a few seconds would fit if the screen fades to black or something, otherwise add backswing to the character (AKA animation after the character has done the attack).
Making all the frames for the slash texture.
Yeah it’s a recreation from a turn based combat game.
in my opinion it looks weird because the slash VFX at the end is not animated.
What do you mean by animated? The disapation animation for the slash vfx consists of 46 frames.
i mean that the slash at the end isn’t moving in any way, it just fades out. it looks kind of weird imo
Well yeah, considering its literally roblox - the platform that has worse VFX support than unity back in 2003 then its not quite a surprise i don’t have access to shaders that could give me good ways to erode a vfx.
