I just finished a game inspired by Agar.io. It’s the same gameplay: Touch tiny dots to get big, touch tiny players to get bigger. But it’s bubble themed, with an underwater map and your character inside of a bubble. I think it’s pretty cool, but that’s just my opinion.
The game is called Bubble.io. Click there to go play the game.
I added skins too. You can buy different skins with coins, and there are quite a few of them. I really had lots of fun making skins!
This game took a total of 3 weeks to fully complete. Even though the gameplay is simple, and the game is basic, I’m proud of this project. Especially on the UI. Take a look:
Here’s the skins shop menu. Pretty cool, eh? It’s obviously not the best UI, but it’s much better than what I usually do. I added a niceeee reef scene for the skin shop , and the player inside their bubble, so they can preview skins. There are also sounds that play for when you open a menu, close a menu, etc.
So yeah, I’m glad I took the time to make this little game. The game may be bad, but I’m very proud of it.
