Made this Cabin can you guys review it and give me feed back

Alright so this Cabin I made looks like a odd shape but besides that can you review it?

Alright so here are some edits I made to the build it seems a bit worse with a Triangle Roof.

Honestly the only issue is the roof, try using wedges and curves to give it more of a slope, try using different browns so it feels like it has more detail

Yes the roof I knew it also Different brown ok!!

I think the sides are super awkward maybe make the grey part jut out more and maybe add a cellar door to the side.

It is ok, I would change the roof as it doesnt cover the corner logs.

Hey There,

If your looking for a 8-bit or blocky type style or more modern, I highly suggest making the roof more like a roof. Add different parts such as wedges, and different other things to make it not so blocky.

Hopefully this helps!

Sincerely,

Everything I’m about to say is constructive criticism and only intended to help you improve this build.

To start off, the structure of the house is very unnatural and simplistic. A lot of stuff isn’t placed correctly and it doesn’t match with real houses. Comparing this to reality, the roof is somewhat flat and these types of roofs are extremely uncommon. I think that when building it’s good to build accurately and keep real-life aspects in mind. To fix this, I’d suggest redoing the roof. You can place two wedges on top of the house and then add a scaled block(s) for the roof tiling. This gives the entire thing a better shape and it’s more logical and realistic that way. As for the chimney, that should be placed more near the edge of the house. Since the fireplace leads to the chimney, the chimney should be near the edge of the house where the fireplace would typically be. Nobody really has a fireplace in the middle of their house.

Here’s an image to help you understand visually:

Now I think we should work on the details. There’s not much going on besides the windows, the door, the chimney, some logs, and the steps leading to the door. The thing that throws me off is the windows, because the pattern looks really unnatural. You’re gonna want to make the windows more square and rather than a star-like pattern, it could be a +, as in the glass is divided into four different parts rather than 6. The yellow on the window also makes it look a bit bland and a bolder color like orange is better. The steps on the house are decent but you’ll almost never see the bottom stair be longer than the bottom. The length should stay the same. You could also add some stones for your stairs rather than just some steps.

As for the logs, they should be under the roof as support.

I think my final feedback/criticism would be working on lightning and colors. Lighting can really help make a build look great, it takes a while to get good at, but it’s worth it. The colors used for the cabin are dark and I think they should be a bit lighter and more “pastel” in a way.

Here are some references for some nice cabins:

All in all, it’s a good start. Keep us updated.

Keep up the good work and good luck.

It looks too blocky, the windows seem to be disproportionate and look kind of small.

Oh alright but I have a lot of difficulty with that I am gonna try though thanks for feedback.

Oh ok I will try to add a real roof. Thanks for the feedback you helped me out alot.
