Main bone in rig does not animate outside of the animation editor

I am having an issue with animating skinned rigs where the animations looks fine when played in the animation editor but when it is played in-game the main bone does not animate. The main bone is the one that holds all the other bones and controls the position/orientation of the MeshPart (like the HumanoidRootPart)

I don’t know much about animating/rigging (the above model is from a pack) so I would appreciate any help!

Figured out the issue was that the body was not anchored when exporting the animation.
