Hello, I’ve created a main menu, as below:
I’m just here looking for any feedback/suggestions
It is good, but I will suggest doing something about the contrast of the text. As it stands, the credits text in particular is hard to read. You could add a stroke or something behind the text to help with this.
If the background will be static, maybe make the object behind the words lighter so its easier to read, or move the camera so the text is in the sky.
This looks very nice! I like how cinematic the setup is. If it were me, I would probably scale this shot up so that empty bright space on the right side of the frame is gone and the building extends all the way off frame. It makes the world look smaller and is a little too bright and distracting.
I agree with the comment about the typography contrast too. You could put a box under it with some transparency just to make it stand out a bit more. It also feels cramped up in the corner with it being so close to the edge. Give it a bit of breathing room to make it feel more balanced. “The city has fallen” also feels a little awkward pushed out of alignment like that.
Really neat concept though! I like the gradient texture on the type and the overall cinematic mood.
Thank you both for taking time to make suggestions. @mewnmowse @Brylan_Leske
This is my new latest version

I already have planned a vignette and npcs walking around, this is just a testing place though for some systems
