Major performance regression in ingame chat UI - Scrollingframe CanvasPosition and CanvasSize

Major performance regression in ingame chat UIs, started a few days ago. ScrollingFrame.CanvasPosition and CanvasSize taking significantly longer than it used to. Have not tested other games.

Visible in

  1. Join a relatively full server
  2. Type a message in the chat
  3. Notice “lag spike”


Does this affect all ScrollingFrames or just the chat?

the only scrolling frames used in robeats are in chat, have not had time to dig into what is going on. anyone else confirm or deny that this is affecting all scrolling frames?

We’ve reverted the flag responsible for this issue while we work on a fix.
