Major Stuttering when Connected to Smart Watch

This issue appears to happen only when Voice Chat is on and the Android phone is connected to a smart watch.

When you launch a game with voice chat, the entire client starts stuttering approx. every second. Turning off Bluetooth/disconnecting the smart watch fixes the stuttering. I opened micro profiler to see what may be causing it, and it appears to be something with the sound driver. I do notice that when voice chat is in use, the phone thinks it is in a call, and it might be attempting to forward this data to the smart watch but fails and in turn causes major stuttering on the phone.

Expected behavior

The game should not stutter. It should run the same with Bluetooth on and smart watch connected as when it is not.

Hey a couple quick questions:

  • What Android device and smart watch are you using?
  • What version of Android?
  • Do you have any other Bluetooth devices connected?

Android 13 on Galaxy S23 Ultra connected to Galaxy watch 4

No other bluetooth devices connected

Hi @MyUsernamesThis, thanks for the report. We have tested this out with the current client and the problem does not occur - we tested by connecting a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 (T58V) to a Samsung Galaxy S9 phone as well as a Galaxy S23 device.
