Make a better way to edit Developer Products

It’s not a huge deal but it can be improved. I have over 50 developer products in a game, and if i want to do a special WEEKEND SALE and change all the prices, it seems like it takes 1000+ clicks to get it done. i have several pages of products and each time after i change the price of one it goes back to the first page and i have to click through all the pages to get to the next product in line, and then again for the next, and so on…
i’d like to be able to edit them all on the same page at the same time, like a spreadsheet, and then click save. or even to be able to download/upload a product spreadsheet would be ok.

I see what you mean, I have a similar problem when updating a lot of clothing item’s prices and descriptions. Lets say I want to make all my clothing half price? Thats like 50+ items I need to change the price of and takes ages to do so.
It’d be nice to have a spreadsheet like page that Johnny suggested where you can select multiple items and edit them as a whole. Otherwise this can take hours just to change the prices of your items because the navigation takes so long.

yes, thanks for pointing that out. i forgot to add that. i too have a lot of clothing items, and it’s the same hassle trying to change the price or description of everything. 1000+ clicks.

You could always sell your own game currency, but in my opinion there’s a buyer’s disconnect when they’re forced to worry about your currency when they could directly buy something (both is ideal)

As you’re saying, it definitely would be a good idea for it to be easier to edit. Also, while on the subject, why isn’t there a way to delete Developer Products…?

Anyway, a temporary work-around that may not be too plausible with your current setup is selling items with your own in-game currency – which can be bought via Developer Product.

I deleted one of my gamepasses yesterday by deleting it from my stuff.

Edit: Got mixed up with the tab name “Developer Store” on a game’s page. GamePasses aren’t Developer products.

GamePassses are not Developer Products

Use a custom currency!

thx. I have been toying with the idea of adding my own in-game currency, gadget-bitz  but doing it just for the sake of taking the pain out of changing prices would be like letting roblox off the hook for having a, what seems to be, mock-up product editing system in place of a decent thought-out editing system. Why should I have to make a whole new currency to make changing prices easier, when roblox can improve the page for everyone who uses it? i guess you’ve never had to edit several pages of products before? or several clothing items?

Adding your own currency is already proven to increase user spending. Companies found that users were more willing to buy something with virtual currency than with the same amount of value in real money.

thx. that’s great to know. i’m one step closer to implementing my own in-game currency  it still doesn’t eliminate the need for a good way to mass edit assets and products on the website.
