Hi… I’ve been making animations for a long time and I made a ton! When I need a specific animation, I have to open my other games to check what I did instead of using the dashboard because it’s so bad at the moment, I was currently for a specific animation and at the end I gave up on page 66…
Yes I made too many animations and I’m sure other developers need a search bar for development items.
Hi @Ryxku, thanks for the suggestion! We’ll look into whether to add this to the Creator Hub.
In the meantime, our Studio Toolbox Inventory tab has a way to search through animations you’ve created. Does this fit your use case?
No I don’t like because I can’t search in “Group Animation” and I need a viewer like BTRoblox does !
Bumping this because I have a super bad habit of naming my animations random stuff and having the ability to see what animation it is without going to the website or putting in my game will save so much time.
The thumbnail part might be an issue when it comes to animations for custom rigs, but maybe an idea is to have the bone structure display instead of the rig itself!
It’s going to be difficult for custom rigs because t’s very situational and the majority of people make animations for Roblox avatars.
And then most of the time when you create special animations for your rig, they are listed in a script like for walk, idle, jump, etc.
