Currently there is a post by the Roblox team which says you need a total of 30 minutes read time to join the devForum. I finally got in after 4h, this could seriously deter new users from joining (thinking they’ll never reach the requirements).

Make it obvious and also increase it. The forum has seen a weekly amount of “troll” posts by people obviously bypassing these requirements.

Neither of the claims you point out is correct, we do not have any interest in mentioning this anywhere since it will lead to even more gaming of the requirements.
That’s a fair point, we have been discussing to make the requirements depend more on how much you engage with creator tools rather than based on arbitrary reading time. Thanks for posting about your concern regarding this.
