My map is quite large and now it’s December i need to figure out a solution to make it more…snowy,or frosty. Changing the color of the grass only makes everything gray, but is there anything i can do with the lighting? So far the closest i’ve got from a wintry look is this. Do you have any suggestions?
You could have a bluer colored fog or whiter to make it more realistic as the snow “falls” or due to the fog that exists at this season. In general, occasions try messing up with the lighting around and you will find some pretty good combinations which will fit your area theme
I already tried the blue fog, blue ambient, etc. and they didn’t look quite right.
Try adding some snow on the lamp and benches.
The snow particle effects seems dark, maybe try brightening it (Unless it’s the lighting, try making the light emissions higher) or boost the amount, you could also try turning the lamp post lighting to a more yellow tone (Gives it more of a winter effect since Christmas/Winter lights are usually yellow toned colors), and adding snow on the road and objects could greatly help.
You could also try making the ambient color partially Pink to White.
Hope this helps
