I’m working an audio player GUI, and it’s currently at a test-ready state which is why I decided to post here. It’s primarily intended to be used as a side asset in a game like Fisch where you might be doing a lot of a singular task without disturbances, basically so people don’t have to play their own music or can’t for some reason. You can select from different playlists, use custom music IDs, and use some basic settings. I’m planning on adding some sort of way to browse for audio, or perhaps browse through different playlists that could be user created. If you have any suggestions, or better ways to implement what I have planned, feel free to let me know. I will take all suggestions given into consideration.
looks very clean and functional so far, i gues you could add an indication how long the song has been played vs how long it is.
e.g: 1:25/3:50
Wow, that’s pretty amazing! At first it looked very basic, but you’ve got so many options that work well together. My only suggestion would be for a little bit of colour and a more creative style. Of course this all depends on the game and how it looks as well but there’s no reference to that in the video.
I really like the resize, move and minimize options as well. Most games don’t give you options like these for GUIs and in some cases you get so many GUIs on the screen you can barely see what you’re doing.
This audio player GUI looks good! Nice job on it! How long did it take to make? It’s cool! I rate it 9/10! Make the background of it less transparent.
The UX is very very good. However, as in design i would recommend is to change the color scheme. Because grey and white don’t look that well. I suggest going full black instead of grey.
Other than that 9/10
Thanks! It took about 2 days to finish the audio bar background feature (the ones that sync to the music), and 3 more to make the rest of the gui. Also I guess I could add a setting to change the transparency, but why do you think it’s currently too transparent?
A lot of people suggested changing the UI. I’ll figure out a way to make it look better, I’m not exactly a UI developer so I tried using simpler UI elements so it didn’t look bad. I will definitely change the theme of it soon.
Full black does seem nice. Do you think an option to select different themes would be a viable option?
I feel like a theme selector would be a lil over the top in my opinion
