THIS HAS BEEN ARCHIVED CAUSE MADGOD661 WANTED TRADING AND OWNING MUTIPLE COPYS OF A SKIN TO BE A THING
For a shop saving system where you can only buy things once, and where you can only own one copy of a skin.Things to keep in mind
- We want the system to save every 60 seconds and when the players leave, but IF THE DATA DOES NOT LOAD WE WILL NOT WANT IT TO SAVE
- All data saving being server sided, and so are the purchases, cause anything that happens locally can be touched by hakRs and they can get all of the skins in the game for free. But they cannot touch anything on the server, this is mainly a security measure.
- A script to purchase an item, that runs the data saving script immediately to save the coins and the item saved, and if an error happens, the coins will automatically be refunded, and an error message will show up.
- We may want to add more skins in the future, which will require expanding the saving system for players which involves making a script which converts
- datastores have limits, which are that only 10 datastore requests (loading the data, and saving the data) can be used per player, per minute, because 2 datastore requests(1 for saving the coins, and 1 for saving the item brought) we should make it so that the player has to wait 12 seconds after purchasing an item to purchase another. If we are saving the coins every minute, maybe we should make it so that people can only purchase 4 items per minute.
- I am going to work on the loading script later
