Making Several Portfolio Posts

I was wondering if its possible to make several portfolio posts for all the groups we position instead of 1. It’d be cleaner for myself and others too. So my conclusion is if I can make differemt portfolios for my jobs/groups.

If they are totally different and have nothing in common, I would say go for it!

Are you talking about Recruitment posts or are you talking about your portfolios? If it’s your own portfolio you can easily organise it in one post. If it’s a recruitment post then yes you should make seperate posts.

I would agree with the above in most cases. If it’s a post for just yourself, I can see it being easier for others to simply work through multiple drop-downs from different groups rather than having to open tons of links. But, if it’s for separate groups and it’s not specifically related to work you’ve done, then making separate posts is okay. The main thing you’re trying to avoid is becoming unnecessarily spammy, since nobody enjoys that.

Personal portfolios to have better organization.

How I did my portfolio was put each topic as my skills but if you are just a builder what you could do is something like this:

My Builds

Contract Work

The list of groups I worked for:

Group 2

Working in this group was much more complex
(Upload a picture or pictures)

Group 3

Working in this group made me show off my creativity
(Upload a picture or pictures)

Personal Projects

The list of projects I have done

Project 1

Working on this project was much more fun
(Upload a picture or pictures)

Project 2

Working on this project was epic
(Upload a picture or pictures)

Essentially you are better of doing this so your employer doesn’t have to search the devforums to see all your portfolios and you have made it easy for the employer to see all your work in one place.

Thats not my point. My point is different jobs. UI Designer, buildsr etc.

I would recommend one portfolio per person/team. There’s not really a point in having more than 1 portfolio about the same person – you’re just spreading attention thinner that way. I can see value in having one portfolio per team that you are on if they have distinct team members, but not really more than one for a single person making their portfolio.
