I wrote a script to generate the Mandelbrot Fractal out of parts, but in order for it to be impressive I had to add a lot of detail. Unfortunately, due to the scale of the fractal, I cannot reopen the Studio file to make the player’s walkspeed higher and so it’s stuck at 16.
In order for this to run you’ll need at least 4GB of ram and a decent computer (which i’m sure most of you here have covered). It should also take around 15-30 seconds to join the place depending on your setup, so don’t worry if it doesn’t start up right away.
Here is the memory usage on my specific machine, though I do believe it will vary depeding on graphics quality and whether or not your machine support part instancing (which i’m not sure if all machines do yet)
The script is completely modular and I can change the detail and scale of the fractal because of that, it just takes a really long time to finish generating (upwards of 20 minutes on my setup).
I used this laptop to generate the fractal: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/NX.GP8AA.004
Enjoy.
