Welcome. You are currently viewing the updated Failed Roleplay Guidelines for Mano County, owned by iKevinL. All players are advised to read through our guidelines prior to joining our game to ensure they understand our expectations from them as a community member.
These guidelines were last updated in March 2021, and will continue to be updated as and when necessary. All County Guidelines will be enforced by our in-game administrators and our community members are encouraged to report anyone not adhering to these via our communications server.
What is Failed Roleplay?
Failed Roleplay is the act of ‘failing to roleplay’ which is self explanatory. Mano County is a roleplay game and as such, you are expected to keep things realistic during your time in-game.
1a. Spawnkilling - Harming/Killing those that have just spawned into the game, as they are unable to defend themselves, can and will result in you being banned from our game as it is unfair.
2a. Flipping in Pursuit - If you are being chased by Law Enforcement and you flip realistically, for example you crash into something and flip, you cannot unflip your vehicle as a result of this.
This rule also applies for Law Enforcement. If they flip realistically, they cannot unflip and rejoin.
3a. New Life Rule - If you are killed by Law Enforcement as a result of a previous incident, you must wait 5+ minutes before doing crime again. Think of this 5+ minutes as a ‘cooldown’ period. In addition to this, you must not return back to the scene in which you died at until the scene is over.
This rule also applies for Law Enforcement, but they only need to wait 3+ minutes.
4a. Glitched Vehicles - If you come across a department vehicle that has glitched, and spawned for example on the roof of the station and/or due to a development bug, this is not allowed.
You may however steal a department vehicle if you realistically obtain it from an individual.
5a. Leaving/Resetting to Avoid Arrest - If you are about to be detained (placed in handcuffs) or you are already in handcuffs, if you leave/reset to avoid the arrest, you will be dealt with accordingly. At current, if you leave when in cuffs, you will automatically be issued 30 minutes in jail upon rejoin.
6a. Non-Existent Tools - You must only roleplay tools that you have (via gamepass) or have obtained in-game from around the map. You cannot roleplay tools you do not have. An example of this would be pretending you had a ‘bomb’, when you don’t have a bomb as it’s not a tool we have.
7a. Underwater Tools - Civilians, and Law Enforcement are not permitted to use tools when underwater that realistically would not work when underwater. An example of this would be shooting a firearm/taser, or using Pepper Spray when under water as this is not realistically possible.
8a. Weapons when in Handcuffs - When you are in handcuffs, you are not permitted to use any weapons from your taskbar. This is because your hands are realistically in cuffs, you are not able to reach and grab items and use them when you have both hands restrained with handcuffs on.
9a. Disregarding Roleplay Actions - This rule is self explanatory. If someone roleplays smashing your window and opening the door, dragging you out of the vehicle, you are to get out of the vehicle and should engage with the roleplay actions. Note: If the roleplay action is unrealistic, or you do not wish to partake in the roleplay (for example, if you are being taken hostage), you may refuse.
10a. ‘Cop Baiting’ - Intentionally ramming, crashing and/or blocking the vehicle of a Law Enforcement Officer, if repetitive and without reason, will be classed as ‘Cop Baiting’. It’s pointless, frustrating and ruins the roleplay experience for our Law Enforcement and Department Teams.
Ambushing Roleplay: Ambushing roleplay (purposefully disturbing) a roleplay scene whether this be a Fire/Medical Scene, Hostage Situation and/or Towing Operation will be met with administrative action. It’s frustrating and goes against the whole idea of roleplay as a whole. You are to be realistic, so passing barriers/flares that are clearly marking out a scene is also called as Failed Roleplay.
- Medical/Fire Roleplay (all active Medical/Fire role-plays in which MCRS/MCFD are on scene)
- Hostage Situations (including barricaded suspect scenarios)
- Towing Operations (vehicle towing operations performed by Soda’s Towing & Recovery)
- Checkpoint Operations (which are normally during High Crime Rate)
Our most important rule… be realistic! You wouldn’t drive up to a scene in real life and disturb it, so don’t do it in-game!
When in-game, you are to abide by the Roblox Terms of Service at all times. If you are unfamiliar with the Roblox Terms of Service, you can view them by clicking here.
