Many free event items on Roblox were erroneously deleted or moderated. As a result, any players who have obtained these items before have had the items deleted out of their inventory, and any players who obtain the corresponding badges for the items will obtain a “ghost version” of the item, where the item appears, but can not be used. The item’s catalog page also can’t be accessed by normal means.
Observe that multiple of the clothing items in your avatar creator are broken.
Four outfits are automatically given when joining this game, two of which have shirts which are affected by this issue. The Sparks Kilowatts Shirt and the Fey Yoshida’s Shirt are both affected by this issue.
Thanks for reporting the issue. Most of these 2D image assets were moderated over the past few years for various reasons, not recently. The NFL helmet item has been restored and is now visible. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Are you saying false moderation action from years ago can’t be reverted, or Roblox no longer has the rights to use the 2D image assets?
Roblox has rights to use all the 2D image assets linked… First of all, Coco Branded Hoodie should definitely be restored, as that was uploaded to the official Roblox account in 2017 and never was an issue. NFL, Tommy Hilifiger, Ready Player Two, and Vans are all sponsors that are still actively working with Roblox so I don’t know how that could be copyright violation. Not to mention the assets Sparks Kilowatt’s Shirt, and Fey Yoshida’s Shirt were all free items created for Roblox to use in the “Metaverse Champions” event a few years ago (and they can still be won from the event!).
This should not be tagged as Fixed when 9/10 of the items are still falsely deleted.
Bumping this thread back up considering this is still an issue. All of these items came from official events, either by partners of Roblox or Roblox themselves. These all launched before items were awarded via UGC Limiteds, so I’d imagine Roblox had manually vetted these before release. Can we please get a better answer than telling us these moderation actions are old news?

Looks like nearly everything has been restored! As Alp mentioned, can’t see the Vans Glasses yet, but I’d imagine that’s already on the way to getting fixed. Thank you very much!
Funny thing is that I’ve actually worn the vans glasses around 2 years ago I think, I lost the ss of me wearing them but they were still wearable at some point. They randomly got moderated around a year ago I think, and they now were moderated and hidden. I think I remember equipping it through catalog avatar creator because it was a hidden item. Would love to see it make a comeback and be finally set up properly!
(Also funny side story I remember going onto the vans site when it released to get a code for the glasses, and then 20 minutes later I went on the site again and it had crashed, and then they stopped giving out codes entirely, I think it’s a somewhat rare item)
The glasses are not moderated, which is why they’re still not working after everything else in this report was restored. The Van glasses were never properly released. We’re looking into what had happened right now.
The main issue that these items have is I think these items were hidden to “gatekeep the promotion” but with recent Roblox updates hidden items are no longer able to be worn Hidden Roblox Accessories can't be worn Either these items have to be unhidden or this issue has to be fixed
