After 2 whole years without an update, March of the Dead is finally back from hiatus, and with a big present in return!
This post will go over the big changes came with this update, Merry Christmas!
Half of the Story in Story Mode has been completely rehauled or revamped! Either by redecoration, rescripting, or even both!
As you can see, this Chapter 1 “The City.” The rooftop of the first building you spawn on now has more decoration (plus Christmas Decoration for this Holiday Season). The rooftop is decorated to tell a little story. As if unknown survivors were fending for their lives from a swarm of zombies on their way to chase them.
This is Chapter 4’s “The Sewers” brand new look! Built by both me and my friend, builderbuxman, The Sewers now looks more dirtier, more detailed, less awkward, and has water you are able to swim in!
Chapter 5 “The Caverns,” and 6 “The Castle,” has been completely replaced with a brand new chapter. This chapter is less buggy, more detailed, more harder, more fun, well-scripted than both of the replaced chapters combined! What does it look like? That’s just something you’ll have to experience yourself…
Weapons have changed drastically compared to their counterparts from 2018. From sound design changes, balancing, animations, and much much more! The guns will hopefully be more refined and even more cooler than ever!
Not only that, but there is also a new assortment of weapons to pick from! These new weapons include: Peacemaker, Machete, Colt Python, Glock-18, Model 500, MAC-10, 590M, M14, FN FAL, AA-12, RG6, and the RPG-7!
While some guns get added, some also got replaced or completely removed. These guns are: M16 (Now M4A1), R700 (Now M40), SCAR-L (Now SCAR-H), and the Wrench.
Zombies have been rebalanced! Casual zombies now deal higher damage or even have higher health than before, while bosses have lower health, or lower damage.
Just like guns, every zombie also has an appearance change! As you can see, zombies now have studs on their body, and wear a Santa hat to fit in for the Holiday!
Bosses on the other hand are a completely different story. While they do have changed appearances, they also come with new abilites! Every boss is slightly different or buffed than they were beforehand.
