This is a creation I’ve been working on for my game, Rails Unlimited. It is an EMD F40PH-2C locomotive in MCTA livery. I never use Blender for my builds; I solely resort to CSG, some basic building plugins, and a picture pulled up from Google Images. This build took me only two hours. I have other models of similar basis (icons are at the bottom of the thread) that are older versions. This is known as Revision C. The mentioned former models will also be revised, as they are both Revision A.
Because of copyright reasons, Rails Unlimited makes ‘parody’ logos of real companies, in this case, MCTA is a parody of the real-life Boston commuter railway, MBTA. I have yet to apply decals to the model; the only things not being added are the numbers, as Rails Unlimited trains do not have numbers due to multiple redundacies (unless we decide to randomize numbers that are accurate to their real counterpart rosters).
The real counterpart of this locomotive is displayed below. Note that not all of the locomotives have what are nicknamed as ‘ghetto-grates’ (the grid panels on the windshield) and I chose the non-variant.
