Posting this here since a request for the bug reports group I sent a week ago still hasn’t been accepted and I have a deadline that can’t wait.
I’m having a serious issue with the MaterialGenerator plugin. Whenever I try to use it, the prompt freezes and crashes my entire studio. I have reinstalled roblox studio, disabled and re-enabled the plugin numerous times, I’ve tried different prompts and different models to no avail. Previous materials I’ve created using the Material generator beta feature still work, and I can apply them from the material manager. However if I try to create anymore, the freeze and crash begins. Sometimes it won’t crash, my studio will just be frozen in place.
I cannot even type in the prompt now. I can click many other studio buttons like “plugins” but a) they will not function if I click the plugin, like f3x for example and b) I cannot select any new parts other than the one selected for the new material. I have tried generating materials without a part selected; it produces the same outcome.
Currently, the studio is frozen and if the icon is right clicked it says “application is not responding” which forces me to “force quit” the application and re-open it.
