Materials - 2023

Okay, so there’s something I need help with. What’s the deal with materials? My issue is that I rather choose certain textures instead of enabling pre 2022 materials. Textures like marble looked great in the old textures but some of them look horrible, and I would hate to have to subject myself to certain textures being ugly as a tradeoff for getting the one good texture I need. Is there a proper way to selectively use certain textures for materials rather than new ones without choosing new or old for every texture at once? EDIT!!! I don’t know if this is the right place but I would like to suggest there being an attribute for parts texture where you can select it. Example: LEGACY, 2023, (Different versions of the material basically).

There’s an table with PBR texture asset ids for the old materials here, which you can use to create material variants that look roughly the same as the old materials.
