Mention the Existence of the Scrolling Feature to Move the Camera

In “Creating Your First Game” under “Moving the Camera” they have a table with the many ways you can move your camera around the workspace. However, I think it would be helpful to mention that the scroll wheel is another way to move your camera. Something like “Moves camera towards cursor”

In “Volcanic Island Challenge” under “Moving the Camera” they have a table with the many ways you can move your camera around the workspace. However, I think it would be helpful to mention that the middle mouse button is another way to move your camera. Something like “Pans Camera." It would also be nice to explain WASD to those who are not familiar, like the table in the OP.

Sigh. Here we go again.

In “Build One Half of the Map” they have a table with the many ways you can move your camera around the workspace. However, I think it would be helpful to mention that Q & E and the scrolling features are another way to move your camera. It would also be nice to explain WASD to those who are not familiar, like the table in the OP.

This is by far the table with the least amount of info.

It looks like the Studio Shortcuts page has an exhaustive list of camera controls now. As for the other instances, these need not be exhaustive like the shortcuts page - the most relevant controls here are good enough for the beginner level that these tutorials are meant for.

Maybe these shouldn’t be added for a beginner list. I’ll edit my post.

However, Q, E, the scroll wheel, shift, etc. The basics should really be added. Those are essential moving tools.

One more edit, sorry:

I’ve changed my mind again, and I agree- I guess they’re good enough for a beginner.
