Menu Bug - B Button opening fullscreen menu on Windows Store version

Pressing the B button on a controller at any point opens the fullscreen menu.

Happens on the Windows Store version of Roblox - not the regular client.

This is a major blocker for my games because the B button is an ability button, or used to exit a menu, or even used to close the radial menu, which every game uses. B should not be opening the fullscreen menu.

The video shows me pressing B a few times. Also, after I open the radial menu a couple times (with Start), I press B to close it and it opens the fullscreen menu too.

B activates the fullscreen menu on release of the button, which explains how I got stuck in the fullscreen menu in the beginning.

Most people don’t use this version anyway so it’s not really a thing you should worry about unless you really want your game to compatible with all platforms at all circumstances.

However, this still should be remapped as I believe their a handful of Windows 10 players use this version over the client and may encounter issues like stated. Once again though, I don’t know anybody that uses this version and this is probably not Roblox’s top priority at the moment. I could be wrong (Especially with Xbox Series X coming out soon).

There are people reporting this bug to me. It should be fixed.

Problem
Roblox menu is toggled by pressing the B on a gamepad.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a Roblox game through the UWP Roblox app. (Windows 10 store version)
  2. Connect a gamepad.
  3. Press the B button on the gamepad.

Video showcasing the bug

As seen in the video, the B button on the gamepad toggles the Roblox menu. It also doesn’t seem to close the Roblox menu when it should have. This issue only happens on the UWP Roblox app.

Additional Notes
OS: Windows 10
App: Roblox Windows 10 Version
Gamepad: Logitech F310 on XInput mode
