Mesh Causing High CPU Usage

I have a dog mesh here. When my modeler imported it from another game of his, it started causing massive CPU spikes, especially on low graphics mode. The mesh does not have any scripts inside, just the bones and some sounds. Removing the mesh ID/ deleting the mesh causes the CPU to return to normal. I have tried putting the mesh onto a separate experience, and it seems to be fine there, so I’m not sure what the culprit is.

Note: This has also happened before with another model imported from another game of his

What cpu you use? Also maybe the mesh is too detailed I guess

I have an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 6-Core Processor. The mesh is ~500 tris, if that

In the video you got a short period of normal cpu usage. Maybe some Roblox bug I guess.

Here is a fact, Roblox uses more CPU than GPU.

Can’t reproduce in a separate place (as you also saw), could you attach a minimal subset of the place that does reproduce it to the private part of the report?

We can’t access developer’s experiences.

Shot in the dark, do you have a Humanoid under the workspace? That could be picking up the bones in the model and becoming slow.

Thanks for checking in. Doesn’t seem to happen as of now. It has probably been fixed as of writing the post.
