I am a modeler and recently I’ve taken a commission to make a character model for a client after making the model and checking so that everything is in order including normals and the amount of faces…
The model was done and I imported it into Roblox Studio and this is on my screen:
After trying to import the mesh separately and importing it in different types of files and recreating the parts and importing it the mesh still is invisible to other people. (edited)
The model is only fully shown to the person that has uploaded the model since when I send the fbx file to my client they can see the full model but no one else can see some parts of this model. How do we fix this?
Have you asked them to restart studio (after you’ve imported the model, of course)?
This happens to me quite often and I’ve found that simply restarting studio (on whichever device it doesn’t load on) generally solves this issue. If this doesn’t work, they might have to troubleshoot studio or simply restart their device.
Did you recently just upload the meshes? Roblox has to check it to make sure it isn’t anything that goes against their TOS, so maybe just give it a little bit before; Also do what @Gucci_Dabs222 said and restart your studio client until it loads in.
A few things to try if you haven’t already. On the mesh go to “Appearance, Doublesided”, and enable that. If that doesn’t work, right click on your mesh in your file explorer and go to “open with” “3d viewer”. Lastly go to “Blender” Go to “modifiers” and add the “solidify modifier”.
